1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY
💰 COMPENSATION: $310 PER DAY
🕒 SHIFT: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (1500–0100) Monday - Friday
📍 LOCATION: ROANOKE, TX
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced, dependable, and safety-focused CDL Class A drivers for a Spotter / Shuttle Driver opportunity supporting our transportation and distribution operations in Roanoke, Texas.
This is a critical role within our daily operations. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional reliability, punctuality, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety.
Our operations depend on individuals who consistently fulfill their scheduled commitments, arrive prepared and on time, and understand how their performance directly impacts warehouse productivity and transportation efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely spot, move, and position 53-foot trailers at warehouse dock doors.
- Shuttle trailers between designated facilities and locations.
- Perform coupling, uncoupling, backing, and trailer positioning.
- Complete required equipment and safety inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
- Maintain efficient trailer movement to prevent operational delays.
- Follow applicable DOT regulations and safety procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
✅ Valid CDL Class A license – REQUIRED
✅ Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A driving experience – REQUIRED
✅ Strong backing and 53-foot trailer maneuvering skills.
✅ Spotter, yard jockey, or shuttle experience preferred.
✅ Excellent attendance and punctuality.
✅ Strong communication and organizational skills.
✅ Professional attitude and safety-first mindset.
RELIABILITY IS ESSENTIAL
